Does anyone know any horses by either of the above? Any info would be appreciated on either stallion. I like the look of both for my mare.

I am hoping to breed a horse for myself, and I would love to do County Level Workers and Show Hunter, but also BSJA to a "fun" level!

I thought I had a stallion chosen, now I have changed my mind at the last minute, and am desperately searching!

(Also in NL)

i like ramexico, proven sire of county show horse, including workers, all seem to be nice easy horses who are ridden by all, and i think ramexico has jumped to grade a(not 100% sure?)

I know a 5yr old by him and he's got ability but he's a little bit dense. He's very big and gangly still but has quite a sweet can-do attitude. He's no world beater and I dont think he'd show as he's quite a light, rangy horse

have seen a few all hunter types, but i think you would need a mare that carries a little blood or they may come out chunky??? but they do grow into themselves, but expect to wait till they are 5/6yro

You weren't overly impressed then? Do you know what type of mare he was out of?

A Dutch Courage mare. He's nice enough and a sweet person but not my cup of tea

I don't mind how long it takes to mature, as it would be for keeping in the family.
My mare is by a son of Dallas called Dallaman out of a Connamara X TB mare, so not heavy. She is quite a sporty rangy type with a big jump and quite sharp in a good way. I wouldn't mind chunky as long as it was still fairly athletic....

Boss - Fair enough, appreciate your opinion, thanks.

Anyone know anything about Red harvey Rose, owned by Valerie Redbart, who I respect for her quality horses always in tip-top condition and immaculate at shows. I think she has some cracking horses!

This is my ramexico mare who is 6 now and has perfect manners and is a sweetie to do in everyway. We backed her at 3.5yr and she was the easiest horse I have ever done. She has then had a couple of foals for us which we have kept and they are both well mannered and quite lookers, if you know what I mean. A friend also has a 4yr old gelding by him and has been the easiest horse she has done herself.
My mare has matured to aprrox 16.1hh.
Ramexico Mare

A close friend had a remexico - firey little thing and she was out of a good performing sj mare. Had loads of ability but let down by attitude which was a great shame. Also know a few judges which are not so keen on his hind leg but he himself did seem to have a nice temperament when he stood in Wales.

I'm the friend Charliepup mentioned. I've had two youngsters by Ramexico, full brother and sister two years apart. Both were the easiest horses imaginable to back and the oldest who is now 6 has gone onto to an eventing home, proving to be as bold as anything and enjoying her work. Her brother is now 4 and I've just backed him, he is good enough to show to County level and would make someone a fantastic allrounder.
He is for sale, but has a super character and both him and his sister have a real personality. TBH as an allround sports horse I think Ramexico takes some beating.
