Red Horse Field Paste

I absolutely swear by artimud. Its probably my most used hoof product. Don't get on so well with their other products though, field paste doesn't last for me, maybe depends on the type of hoof (I have HW cobs so big feet, quite flat, huge frogs).

I like the Sole Paint too as it drys quickly and small stones don't get squashed into it like it does on the thicker clay products.

Sole Cleanse and Artimud are the ones I use most of all. The Artimud stays in the crevices of the frog and can be rammed into really small spaces whereas the Hoof Stuff is difficulty to work with and not very pliable when cold. My Connie wears Duplo shoes and has field paste applied before they go on. I was impressed when they came off yesterday, his feet looked really healthy underneath with no sign so of thrush.

It's not very often that I recommend a horse product, but this one deserves it . I've controlled a tendency for one of my horses to split the central sulcus and get a soggy spot in the heel for three years. In one month, Red Horse Field Paste has dried it out completely. And it smells so gorgeous!! . I'm a fan!

I've got no connection to the company and I paid full whack for the product.

Our farrier carries it in his van to use where necessary. The Sole Cleanse is also very good if feet get a bit smelly. I have just bought their fly spray to try as well. I like Red Horse Products.

Forgot to mention their fly spray, been using it for a few years now. It's got the same active ingredient (Icardin)Saltadin) as Biteback which lots of people recommend.

ETA and I got their lipbalm as part of a special pack and that's lovely too.
