Have any of you used it for tendon injuries??

It's a load of rubbish- can’t possibly penetrate far enough to do anything. Red light only travels up to 5mm across light colored human skin. It therefore almost certainly travels hardly any distance at all into a horse.

You will always get a variety of replies regarding various therapies. Some will give glowing reports others will dismiss them. Some believer that magnetic therapy works but you will find little to no scientific evidence. Acupuncture is another thing that some people believe in, I had acupuncture for an injury & I didn't think it did anything for me but it may work with others. Shock therapy works for some, it helped my sciatica. I think you just need to try it out & if it works then fine.

This is one that isn't rubbish and has been well researched in humans and equines. Here's a big human study.

I've used it on a horse with a cut into the tendon from a kick above the knee and I got a much better result than I was expecting.

You can buy the machine yourself, obviously it’s not cheap, or go somewhere that has one. Friend initially went to human physio and was so impressed by it, sought out a horse physio with one, then brought their own.

If you're clever electronically or know someone who is, I bought the right spectrum and power of lights off ebay and my husband wired them into a cluster with a handle for me. I've used it on several bad bumps now.
