red rum coloured hoof oil?

Purely for fun wanted to get some red rum coloured hoof oil for some Christmas fancy dress dressage we are doing.

Has anyone used this before ?? Does it actually stay on ok. Any good or bad reports please? used some glitter hoof stuff once and it was rubbish.

Hey,have seen some of the kids on the yard use it before (purple stuff i think) and it wasnt great. But maybe trying to use it on dark hooves isnt as successful as light coloured ones?

hmm thats seems to be the general consensus thank you think i will give it a miss. my farrier says i am better off painting them with nail varnish (!) them removing it afterwards so hooves can breathe again.

I bought some purple last week for Niagara's stocking.. we'll have to see what it comes out like!
