so happy and bouncy

finally got my BSJA registration sorted out last week so decided to attempt our first BN today.
Walked the course and I must admit I was thinking meep

it looked huge !!!!!!!
Anyway decided to do the clear round first to try and settle my nerves, and my instructor decided put all the fences up, which in the end helped me out as it got my nerves out of the way - we rolled 2 poles in the CR but came out feeling a lot more confident

.

Well went in feeling quite confident - and it paid off, we had nearly a foot perfect round, apart from a little look at fence number 8 that was next to the hedge and I think I over rode it a bit so struggled to get him back for the distance into number 9 and got a little deep. But we went clear.

Jump off course wasn't too bad and I was still on cloud nine after my first round - rode him quite forwards inbetween the fences but didn't take any really sharp turns. And came away with a nice double clear and came 3rd !!!!!!!!

Well done really glad you had a good outing! First of many double clears I am sure. You will be jumping the BN regional finals this time next year!
