Any recommendations for reducing the damp in my tack / feed shed? It is an old wooden shed / it’s maintenance is outside my control. I was wondering about some damp traps?

Something like this?

Any ideas where they can be bought in bulk cheaply? Halfords (for caravans?)

Does anyone just buy the refill stuff and place it in random pots around their tack room?

Can the refill stuff be bought cheaply in bulk? Would wood pellets help too?

Thanks

Does the shed have power? If so, a dehumidifier would be my first choice. There's always been a big moisture problem in my flat, but now having the dehumidifier on in just one room, the whole place is fine. No more mouldy walls! I got it on Amazon for somewhere in the region of £100. I was worried it would cost a lot to run but it actually works out pretty cheaply.

I have this problem with mine: floor is concrete and these past couple of weeks have been horribly damp and humid - found some mildew on a bridle which was only used at the weekend!! Can't remember that happening since that awful damp winter we had a few years back :(

Don't know what you can do really OP: my choice would be to get a bridle bag and a saddle-cover, and shove everything under that to keep away the mildew.
