We have had continous petitions for fireworks and none of them get anywhere. Fireworks last for weeks and the stress. Signed anyway xxx

This has been debated in Parliament so many times and they all say yes bad, but do nothing. However still sign, as its not the lights so much as the noise
And terrifying for most animals.

I think they are unlikely to be banned but a reduction in the noise level might be achievable and would be a start.

With more than 45,000 people having signed our petition in just seven weeks, we know that there is enormous public support for Redwings’ call to simply reduce the maximum noise level of fireworks from 120 decibels to 90 decibels.

I’ve signed already , if we keep pushing it may eventually lead to change, it’s the noise that is the worst aspect of fireworks as they are now ridiculously loud

signed, though I also wish they could restrict when fireworks are let off - we had a rescue lab some years ago who was terrified of loud bangs, November 5th we could make arrangements for but when some neighbours decided to celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks we were out, he tore his way through the garden fence, must have been terrified, thankfully he was recovered from the pub where some kind gentleman was feeding him chips
