I am usually under the impression that it is a term of edearment used by children and teenagers to describe their horses... probably only because they are not yet old enough to realise the meaning of the word? I find it very odd and rather immature... but never mind!
I admit to using that phrase last week about the pro pics I got through of my horse - to get very told of by friend, he was genuinly disgusted with me! I do completely understand where you are coming from though!!
Don't think I have ever referred to a horse as sexy.
Handsome and attractive are words I may have used, but thats more of a statement I think? Sexy to me would imply that you fancy the horse, which is just plain wrong.
My horse is more like a child to me, not a potential OH!!!
I totally agree with you Stencilface!
I sort of treat my horses as children, particularly as we usually have unbroken/youngsters which need support and encouragement.
'Handsome' and 'beautiful' are used by me regularly, but I don't think I've ever said the word 'sexy' ...about a horse...!
Smexy is a silly way to say sexy. With even more cutesy meaning!! Also used: schmexy.
"He is such a schmexy wexy boy" its just gobbeldy gook, I dont think anyone who uses to term here is about to go fellating a horse...
My horse isn't sexy and neither is my pony, too fat apart from anything else.
They are both damn good looking beasts though.
I was in the drs waiting room a while back, there was a young woman with a 6 month(ish) baby boy on her knee and she kept calling him her sexy little man.
Ah so because its a living creature it shouldn't be described as sexy. I think in the modern world you have to accept that meanings and implications of words, change. Your definition of sexy is not the same as the younger generation and you should not use your definition to define what others mean by using the word.
