Well I had a great day today. Took my stallion out for a pre regional warm up. It was his first competition since October.

Entered the novice 22 HC as not really interested in the mark more his behaviour, manners and manouverability.

i was really please with him, we broke in 1 medium trot, tripped on a circle so they affected the mark. Then in the free walk he decided to whinny, but was really pleased that when I told him to pay attention he did and carried on walking away from the door on a long rein, in the past he would have told me that he'd rather go where he wants to go!!

Anyway, ended up with just under 70% so pleased.

Took some pics for his stud card so thought I'd give it a go and try posting some on here. Fingers crossed they work. This is my first try so they might not....!!

Hope they work!!

Beautiful stallion, and dont panic about your position, its hard to sit perfectly when you are riding a youngster, I would love to see most riders sit one side of a young stallion and sit half as well as you!

Did you ride him in a national young dressage horse qualifier at that venue last year? I think I remember you!

No, didn't do Kingswood last year. He was 7th at the Nationals in the 5yo class.

Only did 3 shows last year, the yh qualifier, the nationals and swallowfield to qualify fo the Nfs.

Also had him at the equine pathway selection if you were there?

He is beautiful

And I agree, if you look up, then I think you will find the whole picture looks complete
