Regumate - side effects?

Flossie has been on Regumate for a few months now and we call it her happy juice, she is no longer in pain 1 week out of 3, no throwing herself up the walls of her stable and a much more stress free horse to ride.

however her udder has 'bagged up' slightly and her vulva has swollen slightly and become a bit puffy. This has only been really noticeable since yesterday.

I'm guessing this is probably normal as when women go on the pill they often get bigger breasts.

I'm on a flight early tomorrow so can't really ask the vet for a few days so thought I'd try the next best thing - H&H!

Anyone experienced these side effects?

Friends mare was on it to deal with similar issues, she used to have to "milk" her weekly as she bagged up and would become uncomfortable. She was concerned it was an infection but the vet assured her it was just hormonal.

Don't think I'll try 'milking' Floss, she doesn't like them being touched at the best of times!
