Rehoming - Border Terrier

Does anyone know of any Border Terriers that need rehoming? Sorry odd ask and I wouldn't normally but my mother in law was looking at rehoming a dog and has decided on a Border Trrier as she had one many years ago but she cant find a Border Terrier anywhere needing to be rehomed.

Just thought I would post to see word of mouth or if anyone knew of one local to them. We have tried all the local homes, main homes oline etc and nothing. She may have to go for a different breed at this rate.

Thanks MM yes she has tried them. She is actually based in Harrogate but thought trying word of mouth or asking on here as far as I know she has tried all homes etc. There is one on that page but needs a muzzle and not a good idea with young grandchildren.

Yes thanks R, she was hoping to get something a bit younger but I think she is going to have to be less fussy IMO as there a plenty of dogs in rescue centres needing homes too many to be picky of breed, age etc.

BTs are very popular so getting one that is good with children is tricky as they are going to be snapped up if they are also young/in their prime.

So likely it would need to be an older dog if she doesnt want to have to buy and train a pup.

We get them in frequently and,we did have a 3 year old bitch but not sure if she was reserved as not been to rescue for a wile, i could check though as not a million miles away.
 
The little one in mams rescue is indeed reserved but I have found one in the pound, still in the 7 day claim period but you can visit and place a deposit. I will PM you the link incase people rush to get it:D:D:D:p
