Rehoming? Free?

I need to rehome my 14.2 welsh x by like the weekend, I just can't afford to keep him and haven't the money to keep him until he is sold! Where are there any rehoming centres or where is best to advertise? I don't want him going to the wrong place!
 
I'm very sorry to see this.

By the weekend is a big ask. That's two days! All I can suggest is you put an ad on local sites and hope that a suitable home just happens to be out there. I assume your horse is sound and rideable?

In the current economical climate I'm afraid all refuses/charities are likely to be full. And if they're not, I doubt they could act within two days.

Why does it have to be by the weekend? Is there no hope of extending it?
 
Do you have any more details? How old is he, is he a companion or rideable and if the latter, how is he to ride? Any vices? Don't know how much luck you'll have with a rescue centre as they are so full at the moment, but its worth a try.
 
I am not that far away - can you post some pictures - if I can find anyone suitable (I do have someone in mind - 5* home, own land etc) I would be prepared to pick the horse up for them - weather permitting. PM me if you would prefer
 
Most rescue places are so full they can only take in urgent rescue cases.

How did things get so bad that you have to "get rid" so quickly?

Can't you put horse on grass livery and advertise sold from field?

Be careful and vet home, you tend to get idiotic numpties when advertising cheap or free.
