Hi,

Sadly I have to write my first post asking if there is a new home for my Jack Russell. Archie is 3 ½ neutered and chipped brown and white dog that we have had from the breeders in Marlborough since he was a pup.

He is, and always has been, fully vaccinated and is extremely loyal and has a wonderful character. However, he is not too fond of my new baby and as a result I have to re-home him for both sides sake.

He would make an ideal companion for a couple or indeed a single person.

I live in the Bath area and would be willing to meet half way.

Any advice also very welcome.

Thanks for taking the time to help

I would love to home him But Don't think my cat would appearicate another JRT!!! I just wanted to say good luck..

Have u advertised him at VET, Dog Grooming places, Pet shops,

Thank you all for you help on this issue.

I have contacted the breeders and the vet, but sadly to no avail as yet.

WelshRareBit, he is very house trained, indeed no "indescrections" since being a pup. He is more than content to be left alone and will quite hapilly plonk himself in his basket when called upon to do so. In many respects, he is a perfect little companion, it is just a shame that he doesn't get on with me baby.

Thanks again.

Why wont your breeder help? They should be the first person to take him back if they're reputable/responsible.

In what way doesn't he like the baby? Does he turn nasty every time he's near him/her or is he just not used to it? Can't you work around the problem as it could be he's feeling left out - not saying you're doing it deliberately but he may not see it that way if it's been just you and him before.

My mother is looking for a Jack Rusell, she keeps trying to pinch mine, she lives in Brum, do you have any piccys???

Thanks to all for your help. I am delighted to say that we have found a fabulous family for him and he's doing well.

Thanks again.
