My boyfriend is looking for another Border Collie - he lives in Bradford and has one BC of 11 years old (who is great in all ways) and 2 cats, who all get on very well. His mum doesn't work (due to health issues) so they have plenty of time for the training and care of another dog.
They're willing to travel about an hour in all directions, but aside from the odd few, I really have drawn a blank on where any more kennels are!
Have you knowledgeable lot any more ideas??
TIA

I got a fab little JRT from Wolfwood dog rescue Lancaster. The guy in charge (Stephen) is a proper dog person. There are no invasive checks on homes and gardens and they were happy enough to rehome over Christmas, a very quiet time at our house. The rescue up the road wouldn't bend on this one. I am thrilled with my new dog and would recommend them without reserve.
