We have a very strong pony with a short neck and who goes in pelham roundings, we keep running out of rubber on the reins as we have them so short when jumping particularly when doing tight turns. We don't need a martingale so really need rubber reins, and ideally with continental stops on too, all the way to the buckle. No-one seems to make them though, anyone got any ideas before I get some made for us.
Thanks

On facebook " the saddlers workshop sheffield"Joanna can hand make them in rubber, rubber/leather, or super soft webbing, with as little a leather end as you want and as many stops on as you need. Always super quality and best leather.

Probably not much help and I don't know if i am a little odd but i love a particular rubber called KRIS , it's used for race reins in 19mm but iv'e got reins in 16mm black , it is an incredibly strong chunky rein with very small pimples and gives amazing grip. I have no idea why i like these reins, most people would probably find them too chunky but i learn't to ride using an old pair years ago and nothing else feels right in my hands now. Don't know if you can get them with stops though

Failing that, get some really really long reins, and ask a local saddler to shorten them from the billet end by moving the billet, most saddlers can do that relatively easily (so long as they know to do it that end not the buckle end!)
