also insurance states you wear 4 items of reflective wear does reins and browband state as 1 or 2 items?

Hmm, not really sure an insurance company can stipulate you have to wear any reflective clothing considering it's not a legal requirement for road riding.

Still, guess it's their policy so they can do what they like. Not sure I agree with it though. We certainly wouldn't be able to get away with saying what riders should wear clothing wise for general riding!

Insurance companies can put in any terms/conditions they want, and this seems a good one.

That is true but i am not sure is the best practice and certainly we wouldn't be putting clauses like that in. Where would you then be excluded from wearing high viz? Do people wear high viz when out hunting? I've never seen anyone so, theoretically if something happened then on a road you would not be covered?

Guess it may depend what insurance company this is to be honest and whether, if they found out you only had say 3 items on at time of incident would that mean cover would not be effective??

Sorry, I just don't like that clause at all and yes I do wear high viz.
