I've just had a call from a friend at my yard to tell me my lad who is on post op box rest had gotten cast, he was ok, back legs a bit cut but ok, I got there as fast as possible, he was fine, just so thankful people had heard him and managed to pull his head round and get him up quickly otherwise it may be a different story! I've owned him since a foal and he's never gotten cast, so big shock, he was clearly scared but ok, just makes you realise how fragile they are!!!
