Hey Everyone! Dont know if some of you will remeber me, but I used to be called Josiejo. Some of you will remeber our little foal Denver we had, with the help of many of you lovely peeps on here!
I lost use of pc for long long time, then I've forgot all my passwords, coz I'm a dope. But hey I'm back!
So how has everyone been?
Josie and I have had a mixed year. We've been showing and always got a FIRST!!! She's such a show off. We've learnt to jump, we've been on many of the sponsered rides, infact I think I met Benjamin from here at the Easters ride but I'm not quite sure??
Although, there's always a but. We moved yards to one with more hacking, and in the 10 weeks I was there Josie got kicked twice, I fell off and got airlifted to hospital, 4 weeks completely out of it with concussion. Then while out riding a bean stalk got wrapped round her leg and we both went tumbling to the floor, lame Josie. She got put out with a rig while I was on holiday, and got very silly. So we've moved back to our old yard now!
Thought everything would settle down, but then Josie started to behave very wierd. She started producing what looked like milk (vet says it's not tho), bumping into things, calling and galloping round field like a mad thing. Had vet out and we are in the process of eliminating things, but he keeps popping into the conversation a tumour on the base of her brain
. All very upsetting. She's my angel. She's done so much for me, just want to make things better. This time 2 years ago I wouldn't even hack her out, or canter in the menage. Now we're out doing 15 mile sponsered rides, going for gallops, and jumping!!! She's a one in a million mare. Just trying to stay possitive and see what the tests show.
So, enough about us. What's everyone been up to? How's the new generation of HHO neddies? Looks like there have been loads born while I've been away, all absolutely gorgoeus I must say, but I wouldn't expect anything else
Hope to get back into the swing of things on here now, cuppa in one hand, typing badly with the other!!!
