Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any good farriers that serve the south manchester area - particularly those with skill in remedial shoeing?

My boy is having surgery tomorrow on his Nav bursa, and I anticipate we'll need lots of shoeing aftercare - if anyone has had similar experiences and had a good farrier to work with, i'd really appreciate some suggestions. Feel free to PM me.

I would ask the vet who is performing the op. who he/she would recommend.
They will often want someone who is going to compliment their work.

Good farrier but short tempered with the horses and I sacked him after he yet again, failed to turn up when booked weeks before and didn't bother to let me know on any occasion.
 
Really? I've had him nigh on 4 years and hes never been short tempered or not turned up! And one of my ggs was a bit of a fidgeter but he never raised his voice to him...
