Remedial Farrier Southwest

Hi everyone. I'm looking for recommendations for a remedial Farrier that would be able to travel to Bristol.

I have a 7 year old Welsh Cob with hock arthritis due to a previous injury. I'd like to find someone that is experienced in shoeing for hock arthritis.

He's been medicated and will be medicated again before my insurance runs out but I'd like to keep him as comfortable and as sound as possible!

Your own farrier should be able to help you if he is reasonably experienced. Lateral extensions are not complicated. Would your vet speak directly to your farrier and tell him what is required perhaps.

I think almost every farrier with a few years experience will have been shoeing horses with known hock arthritis, won't they?
