Can anyone recommend a yard preferably in Dorset/Hampshire areas, which specialises in remedial training for problem horses?

We have a lovely horse (mare) who has had SI and poll problems, which have been treated. Our vet says she is no longer in pain, but she will not allow anyone on her back. (Our extremely competent and experienced vet got chucked off within seconds of mounting her!)
I believe that she is now associating being ridden with being in pain, so need someone who can help break the cycle.

I hope someone can help. Thanks

Your vet or physio will be the best placed to recommend somewhere suitable where the training and physio work together, my physio has a short list of yards she suggests people send horses, I will pm you a name from her list which may be too far from you although it is in Dorset and very highly recommended.
I cannot pm so adding a link to her website, she is very good with problems and kind to the horses so they gain confidence.

I don't know if they are too far from you (based in Devon) but Tori and Mike Aylmore (aylmoreclassicaldressage.co.uk) do rehab livery.

Or if it's too far, they both travel into Dorset and Hampshire regularly to teach.

Many thanks for the link. My vet said he knows such places exist but suggested I did a Google search. Haven't asked Physio yet, but am hoping someone might have first hand experience of somewhere suitable.
