I LOVED Flambards! The books that is. I remember thinking by book 4 though that Christina was turning into a bit of a slapper!

aahhh loved it too...the series and the books...remember conning my babysitter that i'd actually brushed my teeth so i wouldn't miss the start once, but she twigged to that old trick of rubbing the toothpaste on your teeth and sent me back up to the bathroom!!
hmm, hadn't thought of looking it out on dvd....****trots across to amazon****

I think the books were better! But yes it was amazing. Who's read all 4 books?

Ive read all the books and got the DVD for Christmas and with my exams coming up I haver yet had time to watch it

I read all 4. Also the books written by the same author that had a character called Ruth in who was horse-mad but was always feeling inadequate about her riding skills - it struck a chord!!!

Thats Fly-by-Night. Great book. there are follow ups one is called the Beethoven Medal where ruth gets married.

fab series. I was an adult when I found them and also Blind Beauty was a fab book of hers.

Might have to look into getting the DvDs.

I've just bought 'A Pattern of Roses' off Ebay and read it in two days!
Something about her writing style really gets the imagination going
