Remember the ad for the bargin of the year 14.2hh BSJA pony?

There was a post the other day about a 14.2hh BSJA pony that was the bargin of the year apparently, with a slightly odd looking loose jumping photo

Well it turns out it's my friends ex-loan pony!
Pony has been sold on to several homes over the last two years and has become nearly unrideable (bucking, rearing, bolting etc) this is according to the person my friend loaned her off.
She was a very strong and sometimes difficult not novice ride but with a good jump.

has it really won foxhunter? i would have used a better photo!!

It may have with the sellers but hadn't previously and I think you'd struggle to have enough control to go round a foxhunter course.

Looks like you should be able to see the strings 'lifting' it over that jump!!!

Poor pony...
I hope it ends up in a home with the knowledge and experience to rehabiliate it. I know of one ex BSJA pony that was in a similar position, luckily for him somehow he ended up back at his breeders, they gave him the time off he needed, got him going again and then took nearly 2 years before they found the right (non BSJA) home for him. He does still jump, RC area level I think. So it can be done...

I would have used a better picture - and surely if it has jumped bsja there would be some of him jumping with a rider?
