Weeeell, yesterday I witnessed her riding a US$15,000 horse she has on trial and she couldn't get him to canter on the right rein. I also saw her lose her temper and quite deliberately jab him in the mouth.
I was also present the first time she tried him out and he knocked down several poles between 1.10m and 1.30m. When I rode A the other day and video-taped him, I jumped all sorts between 1m and 1.30 and he didn't touch a single pole.
Now, my question is... what makes A a "sh:tty horse" and the other (unquestionably handsome and talented, but also very green) horse, so much better??? Huh?
The price tag???
She bought him today despite her concerns voiced to me yesterday that he's too strong for her and likes a buck after a fence...

Snobbery, don't you just love it. Let her get on with it, have problems with her green horse, which from the sound of it she can't help/train and go out and beat her in the comps!

I was thinking that just yesterday! Is it really mean to say I'm really going to enjoy beating her with my freebie PF and the 'sh:tty' Antifaz!! I've not even been jumping as long as she has.
Course when she doesn't win (she might of course!) it'll be the horse's/her instructor's/previous owner's fault!!!

Well, I know her instructor and he won't tolerate her bad temper, so hopefully he'll knock it out of her... (perhaps literally! Fingers crossed, eh?

I was so pleased to see this! My first thought was to feel so sorry for the poor horse, who will undoubtedly be ruined for life. It's such a common story, and makes me very sad. Someone I know does this: he has ruined several lovely horses, and blames them.

Well, I think what makes a decent horse is the rider!!

Look at Milton, he was the runt of the choice hidden away in a barn when they went to look at horses and then turned into an international superstar!

This girl is obviously one of those that thinks if it is expensive it is better, let her get on with it and she will soon learn that she is overhorsed. Feel very sorry for the horse.
