In october my foal get deep hoof abscess, it was very painfull for him. Now he is sound, active but i observe, then injured hoof now is groving visibly longer then others. I gues he is saving this leg some how. Can it be psihological reason for him? How can i help?
P.s. when i clean his hoofs he dont want to pick up this leg too.

The hoof will have had an increased blood supply to fix the internal damage and that increased blood supply will have caused faster growth. If he is trotting up sound on a hard smooth surface and a softer smooth surface then i would not worry but i would keep the feet matching in length, especially in a very young horse.

He doesn't want to pick the bad foot up, probably, because he remembers it being messed with. The time you want to worry is when he won't pick up the good one because he doesn't want to put weight on the injured one.

Are both feet of the pair the same temperature most of the time?
