Removing Creosote from Grey Horse.

My grey mare likes to rub her head on a treated wooden fence, and now her forehead is covered in spots and stripes.

Any suggestions what will get it off, that isn't too dangerous being as its worst above her eyes? Baby shampoo and horse shampoo don't seem to shift it.

Not sure about eye issue but nail varnish remover does the trick!!

You could try neat washing up liquid and hot water, just watch the eyes.

Baby wipes are great for all sorts of things like biro on leather sofas, so I'm sure they'd be worth a try. I'd not recommend them for use on a delicate baby's bottom though!

Used this to get creosote off my cat, and oil off him on another occasion. (he does not learn!)
Have also used it to get oil out of a white carpet, and it did not stain green, which was what I was expecting.

second swafega! My dads an engineer shifts anything stubborn from anything! Just make sure you wash it out properly otherwise you'll have a green horse not a grey! lol
