Any suggestions?

Grey horse is taking much delight at putting his head through a creosoted fence line and is now sporting a skewbald head of brown sticky oily stuff.

Bog standard shampoo not hitting the mark, any bright ideas on how to easily remove?!

swarfega or something similar for mechanics will work but although its made for hands do a patch test first nd dont rub it hard

Actually on second thoughts - I remember getting hammerite paint all over my hands not long before my wedding and it just wasn't coming off. I'm pretty sure I tried vegetable oil and it worked great . Worth a try ?
