Removing flash hoop

Just received new bridle which states the flash hoop can be removed but I cant for the life of me get it to budge does anyone know if there is a knack to it or am I missing something ??!?

Which make of bridle is it? Is it possibly one where it's not removed but pushed up into the noseband instead?

Its a Montar and I have sorted it now - I was trying to pull it from the bottom if the noseband instead of pushing it up through the top
