Removing hair from numnahs

Although I hoover my numnahs before putting them in the washing machine there are alway hairs that seem to be stuck in the material. Would one of these be worth buying? Doesn’t help that it’s usually white hair on a dark saddle cloth!

Yes they are very good for removing hair, they are what I used on rugs and numnahs before going in the machine. A tip is if they are a thinner numnah or rug, and you are laying the item on the ground to use them, you can get more pressure on then, or, on an old table, the CarPet's wear out much quicker if you are working on a hard surface than for example on grass / softer surface. Alternatively you could layer up underneath the numnah / rug, with another underneath them. It's not a problem if the item is a thicker one.

Also great for carpets! Have to be a little careful you don't go too harsh as it can pull the fabric!

This is what I use it gets the hairs out of all my wool numnahs

Rubber gloves. The washing up type. Give the pad a good firm stroking, and the tacky rubber pulls hairs out a treat. Works well on my western saddle pads.

I got a thing called the Amazebrush from Burghley or similar years ago, it has little sandpaper style pads on it and works a treat with out ruining the fabric of saddle cloth.

Some good suggestions so far. If they don't work, try putting your DH/partners underpants in the washing machine with your numnahs - they seem to magically attract horse hair......

I used an ancient rubber mud brush/curry comb thing, did numnahs, my hunt coat (BIG mud!) and the car for years.
