I bought a used Ifor Williams Tack Pack for storing my saddle in an it's fab. However, it has had a cat pee in it at sometime and now it smells! It has also transferred the smell of pee to my Thorowgood T4!

Any tips on how to get rid of the smell? More so from the saddle as I think I can get it out of the tack pack!

Odour Eater does a fantastic Odour and Stain remover in a spray bottle. Got mine on eBay. Brilliant. My 3 year wet his bed mattress and it even worked to save the mattress. No stain or smell now, whatsoever. We also had a litter of kittens last year at it worked wonders on the inevitable accidents that occured. Can really recommend it for strong wee smells.

Failing that, Gree Gloop from Field Guard would probably work well, too. Just wash the inside of the trailer out with a solution of that.

Ok, thanks. Not got a problem getting it out of the tack pack.

Need to get the stink out of my saddle!!!! It's the Thorowgood with te synthetic suede like seat. What can I clean that with?

Mix whisky with water and spray onto the patch, leave to dry. As it evaporates it takes smell with it.

Seriously, I always have a bottle of it in thecupboard.

At one time, I had 11 Maine Coon cats all living indoors (don't ask). They were all litter trained, but cats will be cats.

So the whisky mix is definately tried and tested.
