Hi all

As I was entered for Balcarres tomorrow and due to the rotten weather I have decided to take my boy along to do some BS. managed to convince hubby that I may as well be a BS member as if more events cancel I'm just going to take him jumping instead.

However I am a bit skint just now, so opted to renew the 6 month membership that I had which expired in March 2011.

It was a bit odd though as I could renew my own membership for 6 months, only I had to pay for 12 months for the hoss. anyone know why?

I have emailed BS to see if they can reduce it, or if I can extend my own rider membership to 12 months as it seems a bit odd to have one at 6 and the other at 12.

So on the note of 6 month membership I have a couple of questions:

1) i can't find the rule book anywhere on the website, can someone point me to the download page.

2) if I am riding a horse with 12 months membership and I have 6 and we compete in a British Novice (tomorrow) and we say get a double clear - will that count towards qualification?? or do I need to be a full member too??

anyone else going or at Rowallan tomorrow??

:D many thanks in advance :D

I renewed for 6 months too & only noticed yesterday that they have renewed fleur for 12 months, so no idea why this is. I'm quite glad as now I won't have to renew myself & her at the same time. Yes, if you get a double clear tomorrow it will count towards your double clears as the 6 months does mean you are a full member. Good luck!
