Renting a house with a dog

My friend is looking to rent a house in Crewe (Cheshire) or the surrounding areas but she's struggling to find anywhere that accepts dogs.
If anyone knows of anything to rent in this area that accepts animals please PM me.

Hmm, I don't know if Charter Community Housing is there but it might pay for her to perhaps contact them? They are a housing assoc. that allows pets (my landlord).

Or the Dogs Trust runs Lets With Pets. http://www.letswithpets.org.uk/

has she approached the agents?

a friend rents - she mentioned similar issues but found most where happy when she approached offering a higher deposit and cost of a deep clean i think

not sure of the details but think this was private rent and she could provide good references as well

Maybe try a "wanted" ad on Gumtree - she should give the usual details - a rough idea of the location she wants to live in, with budget etc and get lots of references for herself and the dog to show potential landlords/landladies. In my experience, private lets tend to be more flexible than standard letting agents, good luck to her
