Hi, I'm thinking of renting a yard in the south west area; just wondering if any of you do this and whether you think it's a good idea, and what the average price is for renting a yard? Thanks

Its a good idea if it suits your needs, you can afford it and cope on your own. Price depends on how many stables, where it is, and what facilities it has, so there is no average.

Where in the SW are you thinking? Which county? Price will depend on location amongst other factors such as facilities etc.
I agree with Honey08, if you have multiple horses and it's what you want/can afford/can manage etc, then it could be a good option.
Do you want it for your own horses or is it to start your own yard?
