I am fascinated by something.
People who rent a yard/farm (etc) for the purpose of livery/competition yard/stud (etc) and get planning and build an arena - what do you do if you leave the yard within a year or so? Presumably you wouldn't have scraped enough money to cover the arena being built and a farmer who has rented his spare bit of land and buildings to you isn't going to want to pay you for leaving an arena behind - so what happens?!
I'm not knocking it, i'm just interested as to why someone would go to the bother of renting a place, getting a school/walker (etc) whacked up then leave (maybe for a better yard) - how does it work out with any benefits you leave behind cos youc an't exactly take them with! Its far too much money to just cut your losses. . .
