Thoroughly fed up at current yard and livery spaces in the area are virtualoly non-existant! Found the perfect yard but they won't take my boy as he is a youngster and too big. Fair enough, even though he is a REALLY good boy.

So I'm looking at alternative options as there are quite a few pockets of land around but I wouldn't know how much to pay.

I would want aminimum of 2 or 3 acres (would share with one or two others), preferably with stables, running water, electricity etc. What's the going monthly rate with and witout stables??

I've paid between £300 and £550 a month for the sort of thing you describe in herts over recent years. I've found the hardest thing is finding the places in the first place! My biggest worry was always security so bear that in mind when looking x

Send him to winter in France. The French refer to our climate as the doucer Angevine - the sweet climate of Angers. Having said that it is colder here in January than in Central Scotland - it just doesn't last long and it rains less.

Rollin! If I wouldn't miss him so much I'd take you up on that!! I am honestly coming to my wits end and am getting really worried about going into winter where I am.
