renting yards

Hi all

I currently rent a yard with 3 stables, 2.5 acres and a tack room with mains water, no electricity. I pay approx £50 a week. I have access to a school and the hacking isnt bad. However, the owner of the yard interferes quite a lot with what i do with my horses and always has an opinion on everything. Nothing ever gets repaired no matter how many times i ask.

I now have the opportunity to rent another yard with good hacking mains water 3 acres 3 stables and electricity for £70 a week, but no school. I would be left to my own devices here and no one would interfere. Do you think £70 a week is a reasonable price to pay? im not sure what to do!

It sounds a reasonable price if the area is good.

I think I would make a list of the pros and cons of each yard. Although the current yard owner is interfering, at least they are there, keeping an eye.... but you would have more of a free rein on the other yard.
