I have purchased the reolink go and it sadly doesn’t come with a Sim anymore. The webpage that says “click here to check your area” is not working, says page expired. I have seen people saying approx £4 per month but the one they recommend by vodaphone is no longer sold.

i have been looking online and a lot of sim only deals are £10-15 a month and not even sure what one to choose 🙈

I have Giffgaff. I pay around £8 per month for my wifi at the yard. You can change it to £6 if it doesn’t use that much data. It’s a month contract so is flexible.

I have the Vodafone one in my 4G camera but no idea how much data it actually uses, but I think it’s less than 2GB per month.

We recently bought a Reolink and have a £6 giffgaff card. It’s plenty for just checking in a few times a night.

I have id mobile sim, expensive at £15 a month but i had no choice as limited mobile signal available where i wanted to position the camera. However i do have unlimited use and data so i won't have any unexpected high bills.
First I would check on line searches for mobile coverage in your area, then choose from that, a network provider, then cheapest option - but be aware of the data limitations.

I had to go with O2 as I couldn't find any other with decent cover. I took my mobile with Vodafone and OHs mobile on 3 and neither had great signal so chose O2 as a gamble based on their supposed signal in the area I wanted. Had to go with a £10/£15 contract (apologies, I can't remember which) with 10GB data. I am still on my first month, but so far, so good. I was a bit annoyed with Reolinks customer service when I contacted them though. It was perhaps my misunderstanding about what the camera can do but you can't leave it 'on'. I had to switch the 'PIR motion sensor' off as it was apparently receiving '1,000s' of triggers a day which the solar panel it came with can't handle for keeping the battery charged. It would have been useful if this had been made crystal clear, how else would you be able to play back video feed if it is only triggered by you actively checking the camera? Apologies, a bit grumpy about that, otherwise, it works fine. Now just need to figure out how to reverse the mirror effect on the camera as everything is the wrong way round!

I’ve got the Reolink Go and I hardly get any false alarms apart from if a rabbit triggers it. Mine is just aimed at entrance. I did get constant false alarms when I had electric fence there but fine now it’s post and rail! Make sure you have no trees/ electric fence near it!
I use the Vodafone £4 a month sim😊

I find mine goes flat if there’s too many triggers, but only during the winter months when it doesn’t get much sun. I also have mine in a gateway.

You can adjust the sensitivity so it only gets triggered by people /vehicle sized things, rather than by everything. I only have to turn mine off when I'm actually there.
