Replace trailer floor yourself or buy ready done

If you were to buy a trailer, would you rather replace the floor yourself or buy one with a recent new floor?

Asking as our trailer needs a new floor. We were going to replace before selling but struggling with time. I know a lot of people would rather replace themselves, me included, so they know it's had a good floor. What's your opinion?

I bought a trailer that had a floor that is use-able, but im still going to replace it because its a wooden floor and the trailers old. Unless i was buying an aluminium floor i would be wanting to replace it.

When we bought our trailer, it was basically just a shell. My dad's friend put in new electrics and a new floor for us. In 11 years, we had to replace the floor once ourselves because it had stood in flood water for a few hours.

Not bad considering we paid £150 for it!

I'd rather put a new floor in a second hand trailer myself, so that I knew the job was done properly, than buy one that had been DIY'd. (Not insinuating that you wouldn't do a decent job, OP, but plenty of sellers wouldn't).

Thanks for you replies. I would always want to put it in myself too, just wanting to check that's how other people felt, as if not we would've done floor before selling. Thanks
