looking to replace chassis on my lorry, mechanic talked about air suspension? anyone have any pros or cons or preferences on lorries and carrying horses
Air suspension is a much better ride than springs, especially when empty. It also allows you to let the air out of the suspension when loadding and unloading which lowers the back of the lorry, making your ramp less steep. However it is not a common fitment on 7.5 tonners as it adds about 150kg and is more expensive than springs. 18tonne and upwards is less of an issue
