Anyone got any idea where I can get the little 'keepers' that the end of a flash strap goes through? I know the smart thing would be not to loose them in the first place but its happened twice now and buying a whole new flash strap seems excessive. I have a long 'end' bit which flaps about when I'm riding and must be annoying for poor horse. I can't stand tucking it in the noseband or pushing it through the flash loop as it just stretches it, I'm currently using a plaiting band!
Any ideas?
Thanks

You could just put a plaiting band on the one end of the strap and then when you do it up, tuck the flappy around bit into the plaiting band. I'm sure ive seen them on ebay though but would depend on the thickness of the flash x

do you have a tame saddler? I'm sure they would make one up for you if they dont have a spare. The silly things have a habit of disappearing just when you need them. Theyre a bit like hoofpicks and pulling combs of the saddlery world - small, cheap, and run away when youre not looking!!!

Thanks everyone! I need to get a girth strap replaced on my saddle so going to ask saddler first, then if he can't help I know a lady who makes bridles locally so she might help me.
