Hello
Looking for some friendly advice...I own a 3.5ton horsebox (van conversion) I want to replace the floor. The current floor is plywood with metal base. The problem is there aren't a great deal of horsebox specialists where I'm from. I spoke to a trailer specialist and he said he would take a look at it for me next week but he suggested that it may be better to get a joiner to do it (as he usually just deals with certain types of trailers etc). Can anyone give me some advice as to the sort of floor I need? materials etc Should I have phenol (sp?) plywood with metal on top or vice versa obviously topped with rubber matting? Has anyone else had the floor replaced in their 3.5ton? I can't stress enough that I will not compromise on horses safety and I will most likely just have to travel further to find a specialist that can do it. However I'm just trying to do my research first and would like to hear from anyone that has gone through a similar experience. Thank you
