Replacing hats after falls - Do you?

Depends on the fall, surface, how I fell etc.

I had a really bad fall from my tb but landed on my feet so my head never hit the ground - took me about a year to get round to replacing my hat and was more cause I felt I ought to

exact same accident happened to me 6 weeks ago, neck brace, soft tissure damage and i was knocked unconsicence so hat was definately replaced. thats the first time iv replaced a hat because of an accident but have never had a fall like it before!!!
