Replacing the seat on a saddle.

Hi, I had a bit of an accident with my saddle (only a year old ) and it has a small tear on the pommel area. How much approx would it cost to get the piece of leather on the seat replaced? I don't really have a good local saddler to do it so I would probably try and get it done through the saddles manufacturer, farrington.

Hopefully cremedemonthe can chime in, I've not had to arrange to have one done yet, but I do know the whole saddle has to be taken apart and it's a tricky job, so not cheap.

Can the tear not be re stitched or are there pieces out of the patch? You could get just a patch sewn over the damage.
