Its actually driving me nuts!
So what im very clearly and honestly advertising is a scatty at times TB which had just starting proper schooling and jumping before getting injured, now ready to bring back into work and needs a experienced rider/handler Ive honestly stated hes not easy and not happy to hack alone. Ive offered free stabling and help (ie mornings or whatever)
so i get people who ask....
Can i have him as a lead rein pony?
Will he go straight out and show jump?
Ive just learned rising trot, can i have him?
Does he hack alone?
Is he suitable for a beginner?

The emails go on and on, im past the point of being pleased when one pops up- even though i do need the help but i just know im going to have to repeat what the advert says then they will reply telling me they love the sound of him but......

Do people not read the advert or what? honestly dont get it and its getting a bit annoying!

One has to assume that the majority of people who reply to horse for sale ads are A. Dreaming, B. Not Very Bright, C. Chancing their arm.

Madness isn't it.

When I first looked for a loaner for pony I said I was looking for a loaner so I could have a bit of free time where I had less horses to care for.
So I got people replying asking if I'd give them lessons, that they had read about mucking out but I'd have to do it the first few weeks, asking if I could collect them for petrol money and drop them off as they don't drive.. etc. Well that doesn't give me any more free time does it? It gives me less.. I also said minimum 15 pound contribution, so people would email me offering 10 pounds a week instead. :o:rolleyes:
