Reporting cruelty to dogs

Dog wardens have no remit to do with cruelty, although when one sees it they usually have a direct number to local RSPCA Insp. At least I did.

It should really be the RSPCA, however if they are dragging their feet and stringing it out:rolleyes: and you are worried, if the environment is a factor, ie smells, living in excess urine faeces or they are barking then try environmental health/council, even them getting a visit/calling card makes them (owners) aware someone else is aware. Are you worried about a dog, is it the little yorki, did anything happen about that?

Agree, environmental health. I've found HMRC acts very quickly when there is a suggestion that people are making undeclared earnings from their dogs, if that is ever a factor. It's not ideal in terms of dealing with animal cruelty but it helps get 'operations' shut down quickly. Sometimes you have to go in through a different door.

Yes, it is the Yorkie. :( I thought that the RSPCA had taken the poor thing but she/he came back just before Christmas and is stuck in the garden again. I've reported it again but it feels like I'm getting no-where.

Poor thing looks soaked through and is howling all of the time.

Next stop is the noise people at the Council.

CAYLA- your PMs are full. :)
