Just for a bit of fun really, any other reptile or other unusual pet keepers on here?

Dogs tend to go hand in hand with horse owners, but is there anyone else out there who breaks the mould with any pet reptiles or strange creatures in addition to their horse? Post some pics too!

I have a Yemen Chameleon about 4/5 months old called Noodle, and a Supersnow Leopard Gecko called Elmo. We used to have an older Chamelon before Noodle called Ziggy too but he passed away. Will post pics up later! (At lunch in work at the mo)

Also finding reptiles strangely addictive!

i've just sold my bearded dragons to a teenager as his first reptile as mine were very well handled so great to start with.

I have 6 dogs ranging from chihuahuas to a st bernard.
5 cats
3 horses
30 plus chickens and a goose.

not that unusual really...... :)

No but as soon as I move out to my new place I want Albino corn snakes or a yellow albion burmise python and/or iguana I love them they are so fancinating to watch someone local to me the other day had a 16ft boa constricter

My counsin has a Geko called Arty Decko he is very cute

My coolests pets to date was my Barn Own and my Chipmunks

Did have a bearded dragon but it died earlier in the year, as did the hamster! (Although not together!!) No more unusuals now just cats & a dog - unless you can count the 3 monsters that are at school!!

In my current job I am in charge of:

2 Coastal Carpet Pythons
1 California King Snake
2 Sailfin Lizards
2 Bearded Dragons
1 Honduran Milk Snake
1 Royal Python
1 Blue Tongue Skink
3 Gargoyle Geckos
1 Ornate Nile Monitor
2 Corn Snakes
1 Columbian Rainbow Boa
2 Leopard Geckos

I leave at the end of next week and am really going to miss them all.

And there was me thinking I was going to stand out like an odd ball for having reptiles! lol

Can see our collection growing though I want a Tokay Gecko & the other half wants a Panther Chameleon! Definately an addiction!

In total as well as the horse we have ...
1 Dog (Beagle x Springer)
2 Cats
2 Fancy Goldfish
6 Zebra Finches
1 Yemen Chameleon
1 Leopard Gecko
6 Neon Tetras & 12 Guppies on my desk in work! haha

Found some pics on my photobucket but will find better later.

They are just gorgeous.

I've got two beardies, two horses, three dogs and a hamster. The dogs and hamster are family pets. I have had a red corn snake but he kept escaping...

How do you all find the Beardies? Love them but they all look like such hard work waving and scratching in the viv windows all the time lol, my little gecko is bad enough nagging to come out so he has his own room with the chameleon now!

I did have a berber skink, a fire skink and a water dragon but I let my ex keep them when we split. I also used to have a lovely tropical fish set up but again - I lost custody! I'll definitely get another skink one day and have always really wanted a tortoise. I didn't know much about reptiles etc until I met my ex but found it all so fascinating and totally different.

I think that's the same with me, just found them so fascinating & different to what I'm used to I got hooked. Always been animal mad & got my yearly UK zoo pass but even more so now.

Love watching the pair of mine hunting!

All started at Dragon Reptiles in West Wales, something to do on a rainy day on a short break haha its awesome!

Another one with a Beardie - 4 yr old female called Spud. Had her since she was absolutely tiny and is dream to look after. Great to handle, friendly and very funny to have around. Always changes everyone's mind about lizards after they have met her so I'm very proud of my little scaly one :)

I'm lucky to have [Content removed] close by with a good selection including Komodo dragons and a good reptile pet shop ([Content removed at OP's request]). I go have a look around so I don't miss out while i'm reptile-less!

Has anyone seen Essex Jungle on channel 5 (I think) - some real characters on there!
