Reputable dealers in East Mids? or surrounding area - can travel

Hi everyone.

Ok we often hear about bad experiences with dealers and i have had a little experience with them in the past.

I am looking to buy a horse - nothing really stands out on Horsemart et al - so i was going to have a look at around a few dealers yards.

I can travel to Cambridge - Midlands and so on so if anyone can comment on any dealers in those areas or even recommend them then please - i would like to hear.

Hiya; what do you want? Eventer/Sjer/Hacker etc? www.oakwoodstud.co.uk are good fro dressage horses, www.jmsportshorses.co.uk are good for sjers, and i can name you a couple of eventers too.

I am after a very basic criteria - must be sound - a happy hacker and is over 15.3hh.

I dont want to do showjumping or dressage and so on.

Somebody mentioned Lowfield stables on here the other day. They look to have some nice all rounders that aren't over priced. If you Google it, they do have a website.

Thanks all - but they all seem quite expensive for what i am looking for (a hacker rather than SJ or dressage).
