Reputable Dealers in Yorkshire

Could anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for a good dealer to buy a first horse from. Any ideas would be more than welcome! Thankies in advance

The only dealer I know of and have bought from in the past is Judi Thurloe. You can google her name and you'll get her web address. She is generally pretty good at matching horse and rider and will have more horses in than are on the website.

I didn't buy from her but was quite impressed by Victoria (surname escapes me) at Woodcock Farm in Leeds when I was looking for a horse last year. I never got on the horse because it wasn't as chunky as it looked in the photo but I described exactly what I was looking for and she promised to ring me if one that she had coming in turned out to be what I had described. When she hadn't rung in a few days I rang her and she said she didn't think that the horse was suitable after all. There was definitely no hard sell. I can't really recommend her because as I said I didn't buy from her but I would certainly go to her again if I was looking for another horse. She has a website but doesn't have all the horses for sale on it.

have a look at the website s j horse and ponies. the owner there is called sam and she is sound. i have the horse i brought coming tomorrow from there and she was so helpful and honest very different from the ones ive met back in ireland.
