Reputable freelance instructors, S.E. Kent - recommendations?

Anyone?

Looking to hire an instructor to give me a few lessons on new ride, would like to be able to do flat/jumping lessons and for instructor to be able to do half hour and hour sessions and with the possibility of having a small group lesson (only two riders).

Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm totally new to the world of freelance instructors (as you can tell!), sorry for the numpty post! :o
 
Try Jill Shepherd. She is based near Brenzett (Brooklands to be precise), and will travel to you or you can go to her place. She is brilliant. She advertises in Pegasus if you want her number, I haven't got my phone to hand at the moment.
 
* Slightly worried as this could be classed as advertising * OH teaches in Kent, will travel, Sj or flatwork. Ben Dalton is his name, pm me if you'd like his number...Alternatively you could come to us...

Sorry - left out a crucial detail!

The two riders are both hearing impaired which will need to be taken into consideration - we need a patient instructor who would be prepared to alter their methods slightly to accommodate this.

I'll have a chat with the owner of the horse and pass on the names you've given me. :)

Jill has infinite patience, and is also currently involved in starting a riding therapy centre, so would be ideal.
 
My freelance instructor is based just West of Maidstone, very good - extremely patient :) Send me a pm if you would like her contact details.

It's Brookland without the s on the end lol. I used to live there myself,many years ago now though!.I am still local to the area but I haven't actually heard of Jill Shepherd. Having googled her I see she has something to do with saddles for small kids but can't find any info on her as a teacher. Would you be able to pm me her details as well as I may need to find a new instructor as mine didn't turn up yesterday and hasn't been in touch since. I'm hoping she is ok as she has a few health issues at present so it will be handy to have any info about Jill,just in case I need them.
