Rescue Before and After pics

wow, agreed. I love Country, looks like a completely different horse. They all seem to have transformed into really nice sorts. Olive Oil has such a pretty head

Disgraceful how anyone allows horses to get in to that state. You think "oh, maybe the horse is sick or very old or something" but then seeing the transformation (Country I think especially) just goes to show what normal, decent care does for a horse. Some quite remarkable turnarounds there - good work.

wow! i noticed from the dates that most were rescued near the end of the year and the pics after were only a few months later, goes to show what a bit of TLC can do!

Think they have knowledge they need to share--Country particularly looks like he was beyond saving, like his body/organs would have been starting to shut down.

That's amazing. Just when you look at the expressions of the horses in the before pics it's so sad - they look so dejected like they've almost given up hope but that's maybe just due to being so weak and ill and then in the after ones so interested and alert. What a great turnaround.

Wow. Some of those transformations are incredible. Just shows what a bit of love and care can do :)
Country looks like a different horse completely, the before photos of all of them, but him especially are shocking :(

Before pics just so so sad - hope those responsible were dealt with suitably :(

After pics amazing - happy horses , getting to enjoy life and do stuff. Great to see.

Days End is a wonderful rescue. I live close and have visited and their volunteer group is amazing and their horses get placed in homes very quickly. Not to mention the founders are wonderful people and their horses are veerryy happy once rehabilitated.

These pics are awesome! It's horrible to think how they got in such a horrific state but I thank God that DEFHR found them.
